Orizzonti at Palazzo Bonaguro

Artistic Expressions at the Circolo Artistico Bassanese

The Circolo Artistico Bassanese (C.A.B.) presents the Orizzonti exhibition, set up in the evocative spaces of Palazzo Bonaguro. The inauguration will take place on Friday, April 12, and the exhibition will be open to the public until May 26.

Sponsored by the City of Bassano del Grappa and promoted by the PROMO BASSANOpiù Association, this initiative aims to celebrate a deeply rooted artistic history in the Bassano area. This tradition continues to live in the collective memory of the Bassano people, remembered as an extraordinary period of creativity by artists who left a significant mark on the city.

The retrospective will showcase the works of artists who, from 1951 to the present day, have helped to enhance Bassano del Grappa and its territory. These include Danilo Andreose, Federico Bonaldi, Renata Bonfanti, Romano Carotti, Oscar Fedetto, Vito Pavan, Gino Pistorello, Andreino Remonato, Sergio Schirato, Ennio Verenini, Bruno Breggion, Oscar Fedetto, Giuseppe Fantinato, Umberto Ilfiore, Anna Saugo, Franco Barbon, Natalino Andolfatto, and many others.

The circle used to meet at the historic Pick Bar in Piazzotto Montevecchio, a place that, thanks to various exhibitions, became a vibrant center of new research and creative stimuli. This small space was a crucible of ideas, frequented by numerous young artists: painters, graphic designers, engravers, ceramicists, sculptors, as well as journalists and writers. The gatherings were enriched by the presence of museum directors, critics, and gallery owners.

The Orizzonti exhibition pays homage to the written and oral memories, and the testimonies of the artists who found in the C.A.B. an exceptional opportunity for dialogue, exploration of new experiences, and cultural stimuli.
